Glutamine is a precursor of the neurotransmitter GABA. Tyrosine is a precursor of neurotransmitters adrenaline, noradrenaline and dopamine. Tyrosine also helps the mental and physical performance under stress. 5-HTP is used by the body for the production of neurotransmitters and therefore plays an important role in maintaining good nerve and brain. The amino acid TMG (tri-methyl glycine), provides methyl groups to support healthy methylation, converting the harmful homocysteine ​​into SAMe. The B vitamins also help convert homocysteine ​​and act as co-factors for enzymes that control the production and balance of neurotransmitters.
