L-Mesitran® Soft 15g is a hydroactive healing ointment containing 40% medical-grade honey, designed for the care of open wounds, ulcers and mild burns. Its formulation helps create a favorable environment that supports the natural cleansing and healing process of damaged skin.
Medical-grade honey provides osmotic and antimicrobial activity, while the acidic environment created at the wound site supports the healing process. The formulation also contains Vitamin C, Vitamin E and hypoallergenic lanolin, ingredients that contribute to the care and recovery of damaged skin.

L-Mesitran® Soft can be used for the care of various types of open skin lesions, including pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, venous and arterial ulcers, wounds, mild burns and postoperative wounds, in accordance with the product instructions and under appropriate professional guidance.
Before application, it is recommended to cleanse the affected area with sterile saline solution. Apply a thin layer of approximately 1 mm, ensuring that the wound surface and surrounding wound edges are adequately covered. The ointment should be used together with a suitable secondary absorbent dressing.
The frequency of dressing changes depends on the condition and stage of the wound. In the case of contaminated or infected wounds, regular dressing changes and appropriate professional healthcare guidance are recommended.
L-Mesitran® Soft is intended for application to open skin lesions and is not intended simply for use on intact skin. Do not use in case of known allergy to any of its ingredients. For chronic ulcers, diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, burns or wounds showing signs of infection, use should be carried out under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
