The active ingredients of garlic (garlic) belong to a class of sulfur compounds the most important of which is alliin, which is converted to allicin during the chewing of garlic. Allicin gives garlic its distinctive odor, and is believed to be the compound responsible for the beneficial effects of garlic.
The Lamberts 1650mg Garlic contains high-strength garlic tablets that are specifically designed to:
- ensure the activity of allicin
- reduce the odor of garlic by using a special coating on the tablet
Each tablet offers garlic levels equivalent to 1650mg of fresh garlic, with an allicin content of 5500mg. The garlic used in the manufacture of tablets is significantly closer to the nutritional profile of raw, raw garlic compared to some low-priced garlic products on the market.
Like all Lamberts preparations it is manufactured in the United Kingdom in accordance with the strict standards of Pharmaceutical GMP (Pharmaceutical GMP).
