RAXAL Shampoo 200ml Conditioner shampoo with antifungal activity

RAXAL Shampoo is an innovative kerato-regulating emollient shampoo with antifungal properties.

RAXAL Shampoo contains:

Urea 10% - Strong moisturizing action - Mild keratolytic effect

Lactic acid 5% - Strong moisturizing action - Mild keratolytic effect

Salicylic acid 2% - Mild keratolytic effect

Piroctone olamine (octopirox) 1% - Effective against P.ovale ( Malassezia sp )

Urea and Lactic acid, reinforced by salicylic acid, gently dissolves the intercellular matrix, which results in loosening the horny layer of skin and shedding scaly skin at regular intervals, thereby softening hyperkeratotic areas. Octopirox is highly effective against Malassezia sp. ( Pityrosporum ovale / orbiculare ) a yeast which is involved in the pathogenesis of seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff (RAXAL Shampoo is not a medicine).

RAXAL is a gentle shampoo, which is recommended for the management of hyperkeratotic scalp conditions ( i.e. psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis ). It is also beneficial as adjunctive treatment to medicated scalp preparations ( i.e. corticosteroids, etc ), as well as to RAXAL Scalp foam, in the management of scalp psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis. Additionally RAXAL Shampoo is an effective anti-dandruff agent. RAXAL Shampoo is gentle enough with a pleasant fragrance. Restores balance and shine to the hair, leaving it soft and manageable.

The RAXAL Shampoo should be applied as directed by a physician. Wet hair and apply approximately 1 teaspoon (5ml) of RAXAL Shampoo to the scalp. Up to 2 teaspoons (10ml) may be used for long hair. Lather and leave on hair and scalp for 3-5 minutes. Avoid contact with eyes. Repeat if is necessary. Rinse off. Use a comb to lift any thick scale.

Onset Treatment / Dundruff / Seborrheic Dermatitis:
Apply, as above, 2-3 times per week for 4 weeks

Onset Treatment / Adjunctive Treatment:
The medicated scalp preparation, which left on overnight, it should be washed out in the morning with RAXAL Shampoo. Apply, as above, every morning during the treatment.

Maintenance Treatment:
The use of RAXAL Shampoo once weekly helps to prevent recurrence.

For preventive purposes only it should not be administrated to children under 3 years old.
