Sepicontrol A5

It contains the amino acid glycine, which is an essential component of collagen and elastin. Its presence reinforces the natural skin barrier. The biotransformation of amino acid in amphiphilic molecule with the addition of hydrocarbon chain increases the compatibility of the molecule with the skin and facilitates penetration into deeper skin layers.

The extract of cinnamon bark (Cinnamomum Zeylanicum bark extract) has an astringent action (tannins), regulates the growth of bacteria (aldehydes) and provides nutrients to the skin.

The ingredient Sepicontrol A5 regulates the secretion of sebum, reduces the damage caused by acne and is very well tolerated by the skin.

Its action is fivefold:

Reduces the enzyme fifth-reductase (necessary for the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone), thereby reducing the secretion of sebum.

It works against bacteria found in cases of acne (Propionibacterium acnes, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Staphylococcus aureus).

It limits the action of enzymes called lipases catalyze reactions and release free fatty acids. The latter are responsible for oxidation of other molecules, creating irritation and appearance of comedones.

Limits the action of elastase. These are enzymes that degrade collagen and other molecules and are involved in inflammation.

It has antioxidant trapping free radicals.

Is provitamin B5. It has moisturizing properties, mild healing properties (stimulates cell proliferation), anti-inflammatory properties and helps maintain skin elasticity.

Glycerine

Glycerol is a hygroscopic substance that has the ability to retain moisture on the skin surface, so that subsequently penetrates the lower layers. It offers rich hydration and acts against dryness.

Calendula Extract

It contains saponins, flavonoids, vitamin C, calcium, carotenes (precursors of vitamin A) and silicon. Its action is anti-inflammatory and healing.
